Opening reception: Friday, August 15 ~ 7-11pm
Show runs August 16 – 22. Open by appointment.
Yactac has been en imagined and interpreted by artists in various different ways for the past seven years. The use of a house as an exhibition space– the gallery and the domestic– has come to an end as Yactac is moving into a new place on Main and Broadway. Now the function of the gallery-home no longer takes on its legacy and the only thing that remains in the house is the memory of the arts. Sunset Home presents a wall painting along with Sojin’s wooden pieces which are driven from her interest in space and transformation of space in relation to the elements that inhabit it.
–Kim
Sunset Home is the last exhibition presented at Yactac Gallery before its move to a new place.
